Research Associate
Biography
Johnson has been a research associate with Professor Grasselli’s research group since December 2017. He finished his BASc and MASc in Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto in 2014 and 2017, respectively. His research interests include calibrating rock mechanics testing results to numerical models, simulating hydraulic fracturing processes, and simulating tunnel behaviour in highly anisotropic rock. Aside from rock mechanics research, he enjoys cooking, playing competitive volleyball, and video games.
